Mark Bode is a cartoonist, designer and tattooist. He is also creates spray can murals at festivals all over the world. He was born in Utica, New York in 1963. Mark learned to draw from his father, the legendary cartoonist, Vaughn Bode who died in 1975. Mark’s first professional comic work was for Heavy Metal Magazine when Mark was 15 years old. In the comic book field Mark is best known for Miami Mice, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the graphic novel series Cobalt 60, Lizard of Oz and Cheech Wizard, the Book of Me. Mark's work has been exhibited in the New Museum of Contemporary Art and the Psychedelic Solution Gallery in New York, as well as San Francisco, Barcelona, Paris and Stockholm. Mark lives in San Francisco with his wife Molly but works wherever his art takes him.
